Meet Nay Lin Tun, a 13 years old smart boy from Paletwa. His mom remarried and he and his younger brother had left to stay with their dad. After the coup in February, their village was confiscated, so the whole village had to relocate elsewhere, and have lost so many good people in the process. After a few months of moving to different places in the forest, they found out that their father was dying of cancer, so the relatives and community leaders sent the father and his two sons to Yangon so that their father could find a safe home for them before he is admitted to a hospital. While in the process, they were lost for a few days. Today, Nay Lin Tun is in grade 3, doing well and getting high marks. He likes playing with his friends. He is an obedient and hardworking person. Now he wants to be a firefighter and we are here to support him in any way we can.
