Meet our handsome Dwe Rain! Born on Jan 2, 2011, Kachin ethnic. His father was a drug addict, and died of a drug overdose. After his father passed, Dwe Rain, his mother, and his other siblings had to leave their house and reside at one of the IDP camps in the north because of clashes occurring in Kachin State. After living there for a few months, his mom decided to send Dwe Rain to LCH to have a better education for his future, so he was sent to the orphanage in 2019. Now he is in 2nd grade. When he got here, he didn’t speak any Burmese, so it was very hard to communicate with him. But now he is doing great at school. He is a playful and obedient young boy. Dwe Rain wants to be a successful engineer one day, and we believe that he has so much potential in store for him. Please continue to support this beautiful boy in any way you can.
